The Center for Intensive Foreign Language Instruction and Kitaigorodskaya School both employ highly qualified and experienced instructors who apply up-to-date teaching techniques based on advancements in the fields of linguistics, methodology, psychology, and sociology, all incorporated in Kitaigorodskaya Method.
All teachers working in the Center and the School are graduates of Moscow universities. They all have demonstrated excellent performance in Dr. Kitaigorodskaya teacher training courses. Most of the instructors have more than once taken probation or research trips to universities overseas. All teachers of Russian as a foreign language have a good command of one or two foreign languages.
Using Kitaigorodskaya Method implies profound knowledge of methodology and psychology of foreign language teaching. It requires a certain personality of a teacher: high intellectual and emotional level, creativity, artistry. Besides, the School instructors are apt to constant self-improvement and hard work. They are brilliant teachers, creative researchers and enthusiastic members of the team.
The instructors of the Center are full-time faculty members of Moscow State University, authors of textbooks, most of them have Ph. D. degrees. They all have rich experience in teaching foreign students of all nationalities.
The Center offers teacher-training courses in Kitaigorodskaya Method. The standard teacher training program includes lectures, seminars, workshops, top teachers's demonstration classes as well as teaching practice.
